| There are three sides of the climate issue; Global Warming is real, there is cyclical climate change, or Global Warming is a scam. This article takes no sides in that issue. Basically this is a collection of ideas brought together to help address three of the biggest issues facing America. Bill Clinton's personal interests, and lack of strategic decisiveness, emboldened the terrorists. Barack Obama's attitude with regards to missile defense and space weapons puts us at risk given China and Russia's space plans.
With Barack Obama now the next President Elect of the United States, many are breathing a sigh of relief knowing life can continue--maybe not as we have known it, whether for good or bad, but we can begin to live again. We look forward to a future without Sarah Palin. I overhear random conversations in coffee shops and bars, where people are talking about how well Barack Obama communicates. It reminds me of the first day after a long, hard New Year's Eve, where people reminisce about the past, and, collectively are hopeful of the future.
The American People did something that no one expected, they elected a black president. Now you could say that most people didn't expect America to do something like this, but it didn't surprise me at all, in fact, I might have voted for Condoleezza Rice, or Colin Powell had they been running for president last time around. The last time around however, a newcomer, not well known, and a very junior senator from Illinois, one who'd only been in office two years, with absolutely no track record in the Senate, won the Democratic nomination.
It happened last year, during the month of December in the city of Warsaw, Poland which has been my adopted home town since 1994 and though the precise day escapes my memory the conversation never will.
